Ms. Nancy “Diana” Young, age 68 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 20, 1957, in Beaumont Texas, the daughter of Harry and Berice Hollums Young. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Young.

Diana is survived by her mother Beatrice Young of Dalton Ga; brothers Clifford (Cindy) Young of AL; Guy Young of Chatsworth GA; and Ray Young of Dalton GA; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kayla (Kirk) of Cohutta GA; Zachary (Ashley) Young, Austin (Kim) Young of Dalton GA; Johnny (Heather) Young of Chatsworth GA; 10 Great nieces and nephews also surviving.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Nancy Diana Young will be held Wednesday April 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Grant Manly officiating. She will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park and Mausoleum with Zachary Young, Austin Young, Logan Cline, Lucas Cline, Curt Fauscett, and Johnny Young honored to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
