James Anderson, age 92, of Dalton, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at his home.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ann Anderson; parents, Robert and Sara Anderson; sisters, Virginia Cummings, Judy Fetzer.

James was a CPA in the Dalton area for over fifty years.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Jeff Burrow of Dalton,GA, Susan and Robert Mauch of Berwyn, PA; sister, Doris Culpepper of Texas; brother-in-law, Phillip Fetzer of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sandy Anderson of Dalton; grandchildren, Morgan Dietrich, Ashley Kobilisky, Adam Mauch.

A private funeral service to celebrate the life of James Anderson will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Harris officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
