Mr. Jackie Eugene Dorlon, age 58, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at his home. He was born December 26, 1967 in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Columbus Boyd and Nettie Belle Hawkins, Mac and Jessie Dorlon.

He is survived by his father, Jack Dorlon of Dalton, GA; mother, Evie Sue Dorlon of Rocky Face, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Dewayne North of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Jeff Cline of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Brayden North, Miranda North, Hunter North, Dakota North.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackie Eugene Dorlon will be held Tuesday August 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Bruce Headrick and Pastor Gary Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
