Dimple Lou Burnette, age 80, of Dalton, passed away Monday,June 8, 2026 at her home. Shewas preceded in death by her parents, Andrewand Lucy Satterfield; brothers, Hershel Satterfield. C.L. Satterfield Sr., Charlie Satterfield, and Howard Satterfield;sisters, Aline Joyce and Alwayne Welch. Shewas a loving wife,mother, and grandmother. She nevermet a stranger. She had amischievous streak about her and never held back on sharing her opinion. Dimplewas also amember of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Winfred “Wimp” Burnette;son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Kristy Adams;stepson and daughter-in-lawDennis and Bonnie Burnette;sisters and brother-in-law, Delane and Harold Fisher, Gene Welch; grandchildren, Cody Adams, Christopher (Shelby) Adams, Shaun Burnette,Jacob Burnette; great grandchildren, Judd Adams and Cohen Adams; nieces and nephews also survive. A funeralservicewill be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday,June 11, 2026, at SalemBaptist Church with Rev. Darey Kittle and Rev. Randy Postell officiating. Burial will followin Colonial Hills Cemetery.
