Mr. Deron Wright, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

He served as a deacon of Total Praise Baptist Church for several years. He was attending Cross Pointe Church.

He will always be remembered for his love for his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Long; brother, Neil Wright; and grandparents, Leslie and Myrtle Wright.

He survives by his parents, David and Linda Wright, siblings and spouses, Lisa and Gregg Cleary, Jeff Middlebrooks, Angie and Bryon Baggett, Holly and Michael Humble; He was known as Uncle Deron to all his nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom he loved so much. aunt and uncle, G.W. and Shelby Logan. Many cousins also survive.A service to honor the life of Deron Wright will be at 2 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with pastor Donny Caylor officiating. The interment will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.Arrangements are made with integrity by Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, Crematory, and Monuments.
