Obituary

Mr. David Eugene Weaver, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Wednesday morning, July 15, 2026, at his home.

David was born on December 22, 1968, in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Katherine Childress Weaver, who passed away on July 10, 2013; his brother, Edgar Dewayne Neal; and his sister-in-law, Patricia Martin.

David will be remembered most for the deep and abiding love he shared with his devoted wife, Kimberly Ann Martin Weaver. Together since they were teenagers, they shared forty-four wonderful years side by side, building a life filled with love, laughter, unwavering devotion, and cherished memories. Their bond was a beautiful example of enduring love and commitment that touched everyone who knew them.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Ann Martin Weaver of the residence; his father, Luther Junior Weaver of Dalton, Georgia; his brother, Shawn Weaver and wife Rita of Atlanta, Georgia; his sisters, Renee Smith (Jerry Wade) of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Pamela Sonya Neal of Dalton, Georgia; his uncles and aunts, Danny and Elouise Weaver and Harvey and Eileen Weaver, all of Dalton, Georgia; his nephew and niece, Zane and Laura Meeks of Atlanta, Georgia; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Karen and Chris Edwards of Dalton, Georgia, Ann and John Leatherwood of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and Richard Martin of Ringgold, Georgia. He is also survived by several other relatives and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Cryptside services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Resurrection Mausoleum at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Chester Edwards officiating. His close family members, Luther Junior Weaver, John Leatherwood, Chris Edwards, Daniel Weaver, Richard Martin, and Leonard Brumblow will have the honor of serving as pallbearers. Entombment will follow.
